Having been a loyal patron of this spot since moving to Corpus, typically stopping by every Sunday before work, I've always appreciated the consistently delicious food. However, my most recent visit was a stark departure from the norm and left me utterly dismayed. Upon arriving at the drive-thru for my pickup order, my greeting of 'Hi, good afternoon, I’m here for my pickup order' was met with a curt 'Ok' and then an uncomfortable 15 to 20 seconds of silence. I had to prompt, asking, 'Do I drive up or…?' before finally being told, 'Yeah, go ahead and drive up.' It's a basic expectation of common courtesy to either provide a total or direct me forward without such an awkward pause. As I proceeded, I distinctly overheard an employee remark dismissively in Spanish over the mic, 'Pues ni que se quedara allí,' to which I responded in Spanish, 'Pues no dijo nada.' When I reached the window, I directly asked the woman wearing the headset if she was the one on the mic, and despite her denial, it was clear she was either the speaker or had overheard the comment. I simply collected my order and left, but the entire encounter was deeply frustrating. It's truly disheartening to receive such treatment, especially as a regular customer who visits weekly. While the food might maintain its quality, the importance of respectful customer service cannot be overstated, and being discussed in such an unprofessional manner, while still on the premises, is entirely unacceptable.

I truly believe Jalisco number four offers the finest table service you'll find in Corpus Christi. What's even better is that the food quality perfectly complements the exceptional service; every single dish I've tried has been absolutely delicious. They also have a fantastic taco special available Monday through Friday for just $1.49. And for coffee lovers, rest assured your cup will always be full, as the staff is incredibly attentive to their tables.
